Hi, I’m Madeline! I’m a copywriter, reporter, and content strategist with extensive experience with news reporting, blogging, as well as SEO, and marketing-related content. With each and every piece, I seek to embody the voice of the sources, brands, or companies to share unique and authentic stories that ring true with each and every reader.
As a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in journalism and English literature, to say I’m a bit story-obsessed would be an understatement. I currently work for a marketing agency as the Senior Content Manager, writing educational materials for Target’s beauty department, as well as scripts for social media video ads for brands ranging from Batiste to MinuteMaid, to name just a few of my daily tasks. Additionally, I’ve continued expanding my skills as a freelance reporter at the Gazette Chicago, a local community newspaper in Chicago. And lastly, to round it out, I freelance as a copywriter for another marketing agency, writing blog posts utilizing SEO best practices for a range of clients.
With vast writing experience, my interests range from politics and culture, to fashion and beauty, with each garnering the same enthusiastic copy, no matter the subject matter.
