It all begins with a feeling.
Nostalgia, passion, sadness, heartbreak, joy. Someone else’s struggle, a neighbor’s recounting, an old memory. This is only the start, and I make it into the story.
From interviews with activists to blogs on fashion or beauty, and personal essays, I pull it all together. With a yearning to observe and understand, I dive headfirst into each and every story, searching for that underlying emotion that will make it hit home with readers, connecting us through the same sentiment. Whether that’s a city’s changing landscape or the latest trends, I weave the words together so we are all connected on the topics we love most.
